Whats the story, morning glory? Whats the world, humming bird?

Yes, more bacon.
Mirror mirror on the wall, who's the fairest of them all?
But still, I want the crown.
John, I'm only dancing.
Its all the rage these days to put up a digital download of your new CD and then allow fans to "name their price" and buy the album online. Don't you have your parents credit card memorized? Get on that shit, you lazy fools.

Smells like teen spirit.
Anyway, if you're in constant search for the perfect scent, check out the West Village's little hidden gem, Aedes De Venustas. Aedes also features a pretty easy to navigate online site, if you're like me and well, lazy.. but do check out the store if you get the chance. Its like a perfume sanctuary that I wouldn't recommend to people with allergies. The store is dimly lit, with deep red and gold accents, antique furniture and of course, walls and walls of perfume! They have brands such as Annick Goutal, Creed, Diptyque and one of my favorites, L'Artisan Parfumeur.
The store is also nice for finding a unique gift with their killer selection of candles and room fragrances, or if you're overwhelmed by the choices, they have gift certificates too.
Don't be fooled though; finding a great perfume does not mean you can stop wearing deodorant in the dead of summer while you're sitting next to me on the subway. Fuckers.

The kind of love you got, lifts me off my feet
Space NK has the creme de la creme of beauty products- featuring the best anti-aging lotions and the best facial cleansers, as long as your willing to dish out the dough. If you're confused as to what product is best for your skin, go in for a free and painless consultation with one of the qualified beauticians at the SOHO store. They also provide Eve Lom facials, which have been raved about by celebrities and everyone else who has had the opportunity to experience them.
I've only had the pleasure of visiting the SOHO store, which was warm, welcoming, and completely non-pressuring which I appreciate in a cosmetics store. Be sure to visit them with a decent amount of cash and a very open mind because what they suggest to you is not bullshit- they absolutely know what they're talking about.
The friction of stars.
Oh, how this would have made my teenage love-life so much easier- finally a mix-tape without all the hassle of stopping and starting the cd/tape player over and over again to get the perfect mix of the song you wanted. The USB mix tape allows you to put the mp3 files onto a thumb drive and stores it in a cute little "mix tape" container while preserving the novelty of a mix tape, without the issues of whether or not you copied it to the end of the song.
Too bad I didn't have this in high school- Indie-Anna's sex life would have been more prosperous.

Where troubles melt like lemon drops.
For those of you assholes who decided not to get a job, intern, or take a class this summer, I warn you now: You will be bored. So, if on one of those lonely days where every normal person you know is at work, you should go visit the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens. A little heaven in the heart of Brooklyn founded in 1910, the gardens are 52-acres of magic featuring over 10,000 types of plants from all over the globe. Each month features something new, for example June is Rose month! Visit the website for more detailed information and directions on how to get there, and then, get a goddamn job.
Stick and stones can break my bones.
I'm not into the whole S & M thing (I'm a delicate little flower....) BUT I happen to dig the whole bondage look and Bliss Lau nails it and puts a feminine spin on her new jewelry line. Each piece she makes can be worn several ways and what I like most about it, is that it can spruce up a plain white t-shirt and make it something red-carpet worthy. All handmade in the US of A, most of the pieces made of brass chain and a little bit o'leather, Lau's jewelry appeals to anyone who thinks that jewelry is not just for your ears or neck.
I see London, I see France.
My new friend Eddie Newton is the brains behind the style blog StyleSightings.com. Newton finds people on the street who he thinks are fashionable, shoots them and then posts them on his site. He also shoots at party's and events, which is how I met him, after he shot two party's for Earnest Sewn. Its definitely an awesome idea and well executed site, not to mention its hilarious to see how many of your friends end up on it. Don't forget to read the catty-comments; reads almost as bad as perezhilton.
