Whats the story, morning glory? Whats the world, humming bird?

From that wild-eyed, New York native who brought you ChompChomp comes a new site for your internet-browsing, lazy ass; InjoyDesign.com will keep you busy for hours.  Built by a creative team of artists and designers, InjoyDesign is set up like the New York Times but appeals to the young creative minds of our generation featuring articles about fashion, technology, graphic design, film and video, and world news written with a goofy twist.  The site is essentially a plethora of random information that would have never been grouped together if it weren't for the men (and women) behind the curtain. Take your time and be sure to injoy!

Yes, more bacon.

I think at this point you all know (or should know) that I. Love. Bacon.  With that being said, I can now die happy because someone decided to finally com out with dental floss that tastes like Bacon. Bacon Floss completes my life, and if you buy it, I think it will complete yours too.

Mirror mirror on the wall, who's the fairest of them all?

I don't know why lately I've been on this seriously board game kick, but I recently remembered my old childhood favorite, Pretty Pretty Princess. So I decided to see if it was still available for purchase or if they'd updated my old classic. Low and Behold, I've found the original.  What I remember most about this game was that it was the cause of most of my childhood drama among my girlfriends during our playdates; I also remember only wanting the black ring, which looking back, probably should have been a sign to my parents that I was a problem child.  Maybe Pretty Pretty Princess is deeper than any of us imagined...
But still, I want the crown.

John, I'm only dancing.

GIRL TALK - Feed the Animals.
Its all the rage these days to put up a digital download of your new CD and then allow fans to "name their price" and buy the album online. Don't you have your parents credit card memorized? Get on that shit, you lazy fools.

Smells like teen spirit.

Finding the perfect perfume is like finding the perfect... boyfriend? husband? Maybe not exactly, but I'm definitely over all the bitches that smell like Dolce and Gabbana's Light Blue; Jesus christ, who ever said euro-trash was back in style?
Anyway, if you're in constant search for the perfect scent, check out the West Village's little hidden gem, Aedes De Venustas. Aedes also features a pretty easy to navigate online site, if you're like me and well, lazy.. but do check out the store if you get the chance.  Its like a perfume sanctuary that I wouldn't recommend to people with allergies.  The store is dimly lit, with deep red and gold accents, antique furniture and of course, walls and walls of perfume! They have brands such as Annick Goutal, Creed, Diptyque and one of my favorites, L'Artisan Parfumeur.
The store is also nice for finding a unique gift with their killer selection of candles and room fragrances, or if you're overwhelmed by the choices, they have gift certificates too.
Don't be fooled though; finding a great perfume does not mean you can stop wearing deodorant in the dead of summer while you're sitting next to me on the subway. Fuckers.

We can and we will.

From a marketing perspective, Liquor companies are constantly trying to find a way to make their products stand out; We all know that there are at least 5 types of Vanilla vodka, right?  But, 3 Olives Vodka has done its part in the vodka world to set their product apart from others.  With flavors such as Chocolate, Rootbeer and Tomato vodka and a recipe book to give you ideas as to what to do with these obscure vodka flavors. Now all I need for liquor companies to do is come out with a hang-over-free vodka, and I'll be in alcoholics heaven.

The kind of love you got, lifts me off my feet

For a babe, one of the best feelings in the world is the feeling you get when you walk out of a good facial.  Whether it be a peel or a soothing wrap, your face feels 5 years younger and definitely better.  But, if you're like me, and unable to sit still through a 90 minute sea-weed wrap facial, you're better off buying products from Space NK that have the same results but don't require as much time or patience

Space NK has the creme de la creme of beauty products- featuring the best anti-aging lotions and the best facial cleansers, as long as your willing to dish out the dough.  If you're confused as to what product is best for your skin, go in for a free and painless consultation with one of the qualified beauticians at the SOHO store.  They also provide Eve Lom facials, which have been raved about by celebrities and everyone else who has had the opportunity to experience them.

I've only had the pleasure of visiting the SOHO store, which was warm, welcoming, and completely non-pressuring which I appreciate in a cosmetics store.  Be sure to visit them with a decent amount of cash and a very open mind because what they suggest to you is not bullshit- they absolutely know what they're talking about.

The friction of stars.

Oh, how this would have made my teenage love-life so much easier- finally a mix-tape without all the hassle of stopping and starting the cd/tape player over and over again to get the perfect mix of the song you wanted.   The USB mix tape allows you to put the mp3 files onto a thumb drive and stores it in a cute little "mix tape" container while preserving the novelty of a mix tape, without the issues of whether or not you copied it to the end of the song.
Too bad I didn't have this in high school- Indie-Anna's sex life would have been more prosperous.

Where troubles melt like lemon drops.

For those of you assholes who decided not to get a job, intern, or take a class this summer, I warn you now: You will be bored. So, if on one of those lonely days where every normal person you know is at work, you should go visit the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens. A little heaven in the heart of Brooklyn founded in 1910, the gardens are 52-acres of magic featuring over 10,000 types of plants from all over the globe. Each month features something new, for example June is Rose month! Visit the website for more detailed information and directions on how to get there, and then, get a goddamn job.

Stick and stones can break my bones.

I'm not into the whole S & M thing (I'm a delicate little flower....) BUT I happen to dig the whole bondage look and Bliss Lau nails it and puts a feminine spin on her new jewelry line. Each piece she makes can be worn several ways and what I like most about it, is that it can spruce up a plain white t-shirt and make it something red-carpet worthy. All handmade in the US of A, most of the pieces made of brass chain and a little bit o'leather, Lau's jewelry appeals to anyone who thinks that jewelry is not just for your ears or neck.

I see London, I see France.

My new friend Eddie Newton is the brains behind the style blog StyleSightings.com. Newton finds people on the street who he thinks are fashionable, shoots them and then posts them on his site. He also shoots at party's and events, which is how I met him, after he shot two party's for Earnest Sewn. Its definitely an awesome idea and well executed site, not to mention its hilarious to see how many of your friends end up on it. Don't forget to read the catty-comments; reads almost as bad as perezhilton.
